Summary

The Electrical Planner is responsible for coordinating and managing the electrical maintenance planning and scheduling requirements for our Chesapeake, VA facility. 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule routine, preventive, and predictive electrical activities to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets 
  • Provide technical planning and scheduling support for electrical activities 
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute electrical management reports 
  • Provide data and information for the budget preparation, tracking, and analysis 
  • Perform trend and cost analysis for vendors and electrical projects 
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental requirements 

Minimum Education

  • HS Diploma OR GED required
  • BS Degree (Information Technology, Industrial Technology, and Electronics) preferred 

Experience Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of previous experience 
  • Previous PLC experience 
  • Understanding of standard software applications 
  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies 
  • Strong mechanical/electrical skills 
  • Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills 

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db – hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).   Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.  Able to use standard office equipment.
