About the role

Eager to explore the intersection of technology and protecting the planet? As a member of our team of engineers, apply your software programming know-how developing code to map environmental contaminants, aiding remediation design. Leverage your capabilities in .NET, C++, and other coding languages programming hardware-based interfaces assessing soil characteristics to ensure safe buildings and roads. Work with diverse clients – internally and externally – designing soil sensing systems and graphic reporting software used worldwide to protect our natural resources and efficiently build modern infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team gathering and analyzing project requirements
  • Design and program innovative software to record, report, and/or display soil logging device results
  • Provide maintenance and ongoing product enhancement for existing Geoprobe® logging and graphic reporting software
  • Assist production team through development of data capture software for quality-control testing of new products
  • Identify and troubleshoot software struggles reported by customers and users
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Software programming in web-based platforms, .NET and C++
  • Bachelor’s degree in software programming or similar work experience
  • Familiarity with web-based programming
  • Effective time management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, enabling collaboration with other team members
  • Experience to interfacing with hardware is preferred
