Job Description

RIVO is excited to welcome our next Junior Staff Accountant to the team! In this role you will be trained and have exposure to full-cycle accounting responsibilities in a corporate setting as well as an immediate opportunity to support senior accounting team members on exciting projects that add value to the organization and have meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do: 
The Junior Staff Accountant will support full cycle accounting tasks primarily focusing on analyzing financial statements, preparing and maintaining operational reports, and the successful maintenance of general ledger(s). The Junior Staff Accountant is responsible for accurate execution of department accounting deliverables that will assist upper-level accounting professionals in making informed financial and business decisions.  

• Prepare, report, and analyze organizational and departmental operational costs, ensuring appropriate allocation of expenditures across the organization.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly P&L analysis, audits, and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue analysis, audits, and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliation
• Research and analyze financial discrepancies as a result of reconciliation process and report appropriate corrective action.
• Monitor full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information and processing.
