The Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems and Controls (PS&C) facility in Elkton, Maryland began solid-propellant rocket operations in 1948. Today, the Elkton PS&C facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion and ordnance systems in programs professionally managed for a wide variety of Government and commercial customers. The facility also serves as the hub for offsite engineering and test facilities in Ronkonkoma, New York and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Job Description:
Performs office functions such as:
- setting up and maintaining files
- interacting with callers and making proper functional/point of contact referrals
- arranging meetings and conferences for internal and external customers
- receiving, distributing, or answering mail
- booking travel and expense reports for staff
- creating shipping documents
- reviewing and editing documents for appropriate grammatical usage and professional formatting
- ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
- supporting vendor for office services
- answering questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
- completing various other occasional administrative duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Diploma and at least 4 years of related experience
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, which US citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reviewing and editing documents for appropriate grammatical usage and professional formatting
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred
