OnsiteWe are seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanic II for our Collins Aerospace facility in Spokane, WA. Our Spokane location is an industry leader in the research, development and production of carbon brake components for the aerospace industry.

The facility utilizes unique equipment during the manufacturing process, demanding a highly skilled Maintenance Department for safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation. To meet these demands, our team is composed of multi-disciplinary individuals that possess the abilities to design, install, maintain and troubleshoot anything from pneumatic systems to electrical and computer control systems.
This work schedule is 4 days on and 4 days off working 7 am - 7 pm. There will be the possibility of rotating to night shift for coverage several times throughout the year.
As a Maintenance Mechanic II in this role you will be an intermediate facility mechanic position whose core job duties will include:
- Analyze and repair of all malfunctioning equipment or systems i.e., Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electro-mechanical.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Performs pump and coupler alignment.
- Boiler maintenance and operations.
- Runs conduit and installs electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with Distributive Control Systems.
- Preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures.
- Observe and follow environmental, health and safety procedures.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience, in the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and/or mechanical machinery equipment and repair of equipment
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in reading and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must possess and practice good people skills.
- Any previous manufacturing equipment maintenance experience is highly desired.
- Must have the ability to solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions.
- Must have the ability to evaluate work and exercise judgment.
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
