About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role

As Business Development Director – RWA (EMEA), you’ll be a driving force behind Polygon Labs’ growth in Europe and the UAE. This role is a unique opportunity to accelerate adoption of Polygon technology for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, across one of the most critical and rapidly evolving markets in web3.

You’ll report into the Head of Payments and RWA and work as part of a globally distributed business development team. While this is an individual contributor role, you’ll play a highly cross-functional part — influencing how enterprise-grade solutions are brought to life through the Agglayer, Agglayer CDK, and other modular scaling tools.

Your Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Adoption: Identify, engage and close enterprise leads building on Agglayer CDK, joining the Agglayer, or deploying RWA-related use cases on Polygon network.
Focus on RWAs: Champion Polygon Labs as the go-to blockchain partner for asset managers, infrastructure providers, and ecosystem participants focused on tokenizing real-world assets in EMEA.
Enable Critical Infrastructure: Build relationships with infrastructure players across payments, custody, stablecoins, oracles, and tokenization platforms that accelerate enterprise adoption.
Build Local Ecosystems: Grow Polygon Labs’ presence in European and UAE fintech and blockchain communities through proactive engagement, thought leadership and deal execution.
Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with solutions engineering, product, legal, and enablement teams to support successful project delivery and long-term impact.
Pipeline and Insights Reporting: Maintain a clear and structured reporting cadence with commercial KPIs, milestone tracking, and market insights specific to RWA and enterprise developments.

What You'll Need

5+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience, ideally within capital markets, fintech, or blockchain.
Prior experience with blockchain technology and enterprise use cases such as tokenization, stablecoins, custody, or smart contract platforms.
Proven ability to close complex deals and manage a full pipeline lifecycle in EMEA financial services markets.
Strong communication skills and executive presence with stakeholders ranging from startup founders to institutional executives.
Entrepreneurial drive and comfort navigating ambiguity in emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with real-world asset projects or financial market infrastructure providers.
Deep network across the European and UAE fintech/blockchain landscape.
Familiarity with Agglayer CDK, Agglayer, or modular blockchain architecture.
Comfortable engaging in technical and regulatory conversations around asset issuance and chain infrastructure.
