Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst - Logistics will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations across the Americas region through data-driven insights. This individual will be responsible for analyzing logistics data, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and supporting strategic initiatives related to distribution, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with logistics managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and optimized supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Requirements & Analysis:
- Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to logistics and supply chain operations within the Americas region.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, and inventory management, to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for logistics-related projects.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the logistics data landscape within the Americas region, including data sources, data quality, and data availability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting (Logistics Focus):
- Perform advanced data analysis on logistics data, including transportation costs, delivery times, inventory levels, and warehouse performance, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and transportation costs per unit.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure the accuracy and reliability of logistics data.
- Present findings and recommendations to logistics stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Project Support & Implementation (Logistics Focus):
- Provide analytical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to implementation and post-implementation review.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication (Logistics Focus):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders involved in the supply chain.
- Effectively communicate complex logistics concepts and data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings related to logistics performance.
