Principal Program Manager, PubTech

Amazon’s Publisher Technology team is looking for an experienced Program Manager who will lead our internal communication, training, and planning process.

Amazon PubTech is a program that is pioneering new experiences for Amazon's first party (e.g. Prime Video, FireTV, Twitch, Retail, etc) publishers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Principal Program Manager to oversee our engagement with our customers. Our scope will grow substantially and we are looking for a strong leader to build best in class experiences, and deliver a scalable process that will delight customers worldwide.

This is a highly visible position with significant impact and growth. You will build and oversee process that span engineering, science, operations, finance, and legal. You will be responsible for defining a new processes for how our publishers know what capabilities are coming when and how best to utilize those features.. You will be responsible for partnering closely with product managers to set priorities and make ensure successful adoption of our products. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of your processes including customer concerns, and long term success.


Key job responsibilities
Build and execute a global communication strategy.
Build and execute a global customer training program.
Build and execute voice of customer processes to capture scalable feedback on our product and features.
Develop and execute process to scale product roadmaps and delivery commitments.

Understanding the external landscape and staying close to industry developments
Creating compelling messaging that excites your customers
Consistently improving the quality of your processes through inspection and execution

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
