Join Our Team as a Senior DLP Analyst & Technical Lead!

The Group Cyber Security (GCS) and Data Loss Prevention Operations (DLPaaS) Team is responsible for the initial analysis, monitoring, and escalation of data loss cases detected from cloud, endpoint, and email data protection controls. Our role is to safeguard Zurich’s intellectual property from unauthorized exfiltration.

You will encounter various types of alerts, including security breaches, intellectual property theft, insider trading, fraud, and attempts to bypass security controls. This role involves handling personal information as well as confidential and highly sensitive company data.

This position offers the opportunity to work with Group Data Protection and Privacy (DPP) and Group Cyber Security teams, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, advanced processes, and subject matter expertise.

As a Senior DLP Analyst & Technical Lead, you will be primarily[NG1]  responsible for the maintenance and daily monitoring of the enterprise DLP solutions. The main duties of the person in this role will include monitoring and responding to alerts generated by the tool, managing change requests for DLP rules, identifying gaps and improving rule conditions, engaging in the implementation of new modules and technologies, and conducting audit testing. This person will interface closely with other GCS Information Protection Analysts, Senior Security Engineers, and members of the Incident Management Team from the Business Unit.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing DLP rule implementation, monitoring functionality, and reporting gaps and issues to continuously improve our systems.
  • Handling requests for rule changes, creations, and incidents with precision and efficiency.
  • Driving continuous improvement for DLP policies and rule conditions, ensuring our systems are always at their best.
  • Conducting tests for DLP rules to validate their effectiveness.
  • Collaborating in BU audit actions for DLP rules, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Monitoring alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies, ensuring swift and effective responses.
  • Engaging with end users and following the incident management process in alignment with local requirements.
  • Responding to escalations by the Incident Management Team, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
  • Reporting issues of DLP consoles and supporting training for DLP consoles and modules.
  • Discovering and applying new functionalities to keep our systems ahead of the curve.

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

  • 2+ years of experience in DLP, Data Protection, Data Privacy, Information Security, Data Analysis, Compliance, Insurance, or a similar area.
