Job Output

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Moz Solutions Manager is responsible for mid- to large-size projects early in design (pre-planning/schematics stages), assigned to them owning & driving these projects from concept to order closure/final installation to insure a positive Total Customer Experience. The incumbent will work closely with Project Architects, Design Build Contractors, General Contractors/Construction Managers, Developers, and Owners to create unique and differentiated specifications that enable value added company solutions for our customers. The focus is on winning at every stage of the project by leveraging design services within the pre-engineered integrated solutions, construction expertise and broad portfolio of architectural metal solutions.

 

This role will integrate with and be mentored by the Senior Sales Manager in your area of responsibility; build relationships and work closely with the local sales teams in their designated areas to capture the company’s Architectural Products (walls, dividers, partitions, column covers, sheets as mill work package), thereby supporting our growth strategy of selling more into every space and selling into more spaces.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Drives top line sales growth that achieves desired margin expectations.
  • Applies a support and collaborative selling approach to create demand thru basis of design specifications and drawings for unique company solutions by working with corporate CSMs and ASMs in territory.
  • Works directly with architects & design build contractors to align design intent with budget expectations during the design cycle.
  • Directly owns a revolving active list of 20 Future Top Promotional Opportunities + 20 Top Promotional Opportunities + 20 Top Opportunities – driven by size and segment.
  • Consistently uses Salesforce (CRM) to capture project follow-up activities, next steps and maintains active pipeline (estimated quantity, value/AUV and probability % of closure).
  • Tracks and closes quotations within assigned territory, utilizing the field sales team as a partner in that process. Maintains successful performance in territories where the company excels and identifies territories where opportunities to improve both internally and externally (Distribution) exist.
  • Understands company selling advantages and can position with key project influencers’ vs the weaknesses of alternative competitive landscape.
  • Promotes new products & services to improve mix and market development.
  • Collects and shares market and business insight on competitors, market trends, product opportunities and other strategic information that will drive business growth.
  • Focuses on learning, applying and continuous improvement through individual & team education & specialized training to enhance their technical competencies.
  • Functions effectively as a member of a focused selling team to achieve individual, team, and business growth objectives.

  • Regularly identifies, quantifies, converts & owns new project leads in Salesforce (CRM).
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities and drive profitable growth in target categories.
