What you’ll do
As a Project Analyst, you’ll drive the successful completion of projects by handling key financial and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Contract management. Oversee all aspects of contract administration for assigned projects, including tracking, maintaining and modifying contracts. 
  • Project Setup. Initiate project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint, configuring work breakdown structures, budgets, billing terms and contract details.
  • Progress monitoring. Keep tabs on project timelines and budgets, update project management software and provide critical data to Project Managers to ensure profitability. 
  • Financial analysis. Conduct detailed financial analyses, report findings, and adjust project budgets to maintain revenue and cost targets. 
  • Billing coordination. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement billing formats that meet their needs and optimize billing efficiency. 
  • Invoice management. Generate and issue invoices in line with contract terms, track receivables and manage collections timely. 
  • Subcontractor liaison. Work with subcontractors to synchronize billing procedures with prime contract requirements to ensure smooth invoicing processes.
 What it takes Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, General Business, Accounting or a related field with three years of related professional experience. You may substitute education with experience in some cases. You should have solid computer skills with experience in Word, Excel and Outlook. Deltek Vision or VantagePoint experience is a huge plus. Ideally, you’ll also: 
  • Be a detail-oriented problem solver with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Have strong organizational skills, writing, and communication skills.
  • Have experience working with a construction or engineering firm.
  • Be familiar with % completion revenue recognition. 
  • Have a passion for supporting others and working on a team.
