Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions, including Power Apps-based applications that align with business needs.
• Enhance and maintain our chat functionalities, ensuring a seamless customer communication experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement AI/ML-enhanced functionalities for the Concierge Banking platform.
• Work with the UI/UX team to ensure the applications being built are complying with industry best practices and accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement automated workflows, leveraging Machine Learning for intelligent automation in the banking environment.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement the most suitable automation solutions for business challenges.
• Ensure created applications are secure, robust, and reliable, with comprehensive error-handling and reporting features.
• Design and implement robust connectors and API integrations to facilitate seamless data retrieval. While in-depth knowledge of databases isn’t mandatory, a solid understanding of how to connect to and extract customer data from it is essential.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure that the applications being built align with WaFd’s data security requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
• Provide training to end-users on the effective use of automated systems and applications.
• Manage assigned SharePoint pages.
• Adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and other automation tools.
• Profound knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power BI and SharePoint.
• Comprehensive understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
• Capabilities in creating custom connectors, comprehending API structures, and responses.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Train  personnel on how to maintain SharePoint pages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
