Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices – code, input, and prepare invoices for payment.

Process review all invoices for appropriate and accurate documentation and approval.

Ensure that all vendors are paid in a timely manner and monitoring discount opportunities.

Communicate professionally with vendors and internal team to correct or resolve invoice issues.

Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Participate in weekly check runs.

Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.

Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Assists accounting department with other tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role

Ability to be both fast and accurate in a high-volume setting

Must be reliable with strong work ethic

Experience working with invoices applied to purchase orders

Statement reconciliation experience

Strong problem-solving skills

Must be organized and able to manage time effectively

Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others

Strong phone/customer service skills
