Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Registered Nurse, RN Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills are required. Demonstrates effective organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of the age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of the patients typically served. Speech and auditory acuity for communication of patient needs. Visual acuity for observation of patients. Much standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.

What we offer: A focus on patients with Sepsis and Pneumonia. A Med Surg Residency program twice per year and a Bridge program. Unit-based Clinical Educators and Resource Nurses. Also, this is an RN/LPN team nursing unit.
