The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on an Associate of New Business Implementation to join our Group Protection Operations Team, supporting our New Business Implementation Team, working remotely.
As part of Lincoln’s new Local Market strategy, Lincoln is working to change the way we implement our U100 business. This role will be working to onboard Group Products for new business customers and customers adding new lines of business.
As an Associate of New Business Implementation, you manage the implementation of assigned client group segment through hand-off to service which includes initial system configuration, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure “claims ready” customer set up, through the generation of first invoice and finalizing contract drafts.
What you'll be doing
- Review sold case submission to ensure all required information is received to begin successful implementation and coordinate with internal partners in a timely fashion to secure any missing information.
- Manage the case installation process for basic plans, while directing internal partners & managing appropriate expectations with clients/brokers, as needed.
- Educate customers, via appropriate channels, regarding implementation timelines and proactively provides status updates as needed.
- Successfully navigate multiple systems to ensure accurate and timely system installation.
- Maintain knowledge about respective market segment GP product offerings. Comfortable participating in discussions about the products and services offered by Lincoln as needed.
- Identify participation, guarantee issue, billing, contractual and eligibility requirements using general underwriting guidelines.
- For New Lines of Coverage (NLOC), partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate needed information to amend contracts as requested by customers and/or external stakeholders including the quoting and submission of final amendments for processing.
- Recommends process improvements that will enhance current process, reduce redundancy, help eliminate errors and enhance the customer experience
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 1-2+ Years of experience in Customer Service, product and/or service implementation and/or project management. (Required)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
Nice-to-haves:
- 2+ years of experience with Group Protection Products (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Health)
- 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, system configuration, contracts, and/or member maintenance
- 2+ years of progressively responsible experiences
- Experience using technology such as ARDIS, Converge, One Note and Salesforce.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues).
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
