We are a collection of cross-functional, growth-oriented teams responsible for the full lifecycle of customer accounts and the foundational systems that enable secure, personalized, and privacy-respecting experiences at Netflix’s global scale. Our work spans:

• Account Lifecycle & Privacy: Building gold-standard account management and support features—enabling members to easily manage their accounts and members of their Netflix household.

• Consumer Data & Privacy: Delivering transparent data practices, best-in-class privacy controls, and seamless consent management—earning and maintaining our members’ trust.

• Access Protection & Enablement: Safeguarding the Netflix ecosystem through advanced security, authentication, and fraud prevention, while making secure access effortless for every member, device, and partner.

What will you do in this role? 

You'll directly influence how millions access Netflix daily. You'll create seamless commerce, security, and identity experiences, driving innovation and monetization across diverse offerings. Our focus is on building stable, reusable capabilities for global entertainment access, enhancing Netflix operations, including streaming apps, Games, Live, Ads, and Netflix House.

You'll play a pivotal role in enabling smooth account management and customer support experiences across Netflix products. Using your software development and testing skills, you'll design and implement automated tests to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of modular experiences built on Java microservices technologies. Your work will enhance flexibility, increase experimentation speed, improve user experience, and directly contribute to our bottom line.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a UI Test Engineer who is passionate about product experiences and is focused on delivering high-quality code. 

• You have deep expertise in software testing via automation

• You will consult on test plans and test strategies for new product innovations. 

• You have a tester mindset, be curious and come up with interesting test scenarios

• You are self-motivated and high-performing, with a passion for both the business and the tech

• You have strong product-focused experience, driving user and business value

• You will improve our automation test stability by building the test pyramid, restructuring unstable tests, and writing new tests

• Experience with native mobile based applications (iOS, Android) is a nice to have 

• You have excellent debugging skills in diagnosing issues in a multi-tier web architecture

• You work closely with cross-functional partners to communicate impact and understand business requirements
