Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager, Media Planning for one of dentsu's largest accounts. The Manager, Media Planning role is a critical role with one direct report, potentially more in time and you will report directly into the Associate Director, Media Planning.
You must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media) and available media research and systems. You will lead the daily account needs by assuring focus on key client goals, and communicating appropriate resource needs.
Responsibilities:
- 3+ years of experience working on a large account
- Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, Radio)
- Experience with full funnel media campaigns
- Coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needs
- Coordinate with multi-channel teams to create strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
- Comfort communicating directly with clients on questions and specific media plans
- Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
- Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
- Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
- Guide media channel selection and identify new opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant media planning and buying experience across digital and traditional channels
- Familiar with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, and Media Research tools
- 1+ years managing junior team members
The annual salary range for this position is 66K- 84K . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
