Operations Intern

Position Summary:
The Operations Intern will support daily warehouse and operational activities, focusing on safety, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Manager with daily tasks and operational support.
• Perform cycle counts of warehouse supplies and coordinate re-ordering processes.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Audit and update Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s).
• Support customer order fulfillment processes.
• Assist with site-wide safety audits and inspections.
• Complete Safety Sling, Fire Extinguisher, and Emergency Light inspections.
• Help maintain facility recycling initiatives.
• Participate in 5S and other organizational improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in safety, inventory control, and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
