As a LOB Risk Lead, you will be within PNC's Corporate Responsibility Group (CRG) organization.This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. You may be located Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Atlanta, GA; Raleigh, NC; Birmingham, AL; and Charlotte, NC. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
This position plays a critical role in supporting the risk management program for the Corporate Responsibility Group. CRG reinforces and maintains collaboration and change with employees, customers, communities and shareholders to create equitable opportunities for economic and social responsibility; it is responsible for leading PNC’s efforts to fulfill its $1.5 billion commitment to help end systemic racism, promote social justice and support economic empowerment of African Americans and low- and moderate-income communities. Included in CRG are Community Affairs, Responsible Business Strategies, Community Development Banking, Diversity & Inclusion, CRG Operations (Risk) and Analytics.
As a member of the CRG Operations (Risk) team, you will work with CRG and risk management partners to execute CRG’s risk management program, including supporting RCSA administration, issues management, policy & procedure maintenance, Prime Process, and the Quarterly Risk Report. Successful candidates will have experience with operational, credit, and reputational risk management, compliance, and consulting on effective risk management processes and programs.
In addition to the job description below, candidates will also be responsible for:
• Ensuring applicable policies and procedures are created and maintained within the established risk framework.
• Overseeing Issues program for one or more risk assessment unit (RAU), working with other CRG colleagues in alignment with the Issues Management framework.
• Managing relationships with more than one RAU
• Understanding risk and control framework
•Prime Process Risk Assessment
•Quarterly Risk Report for CRG
Job Description
- Establishes Line of Business risk management strategy and oversees the execution of the risk management programs. Serves as an advocate for the risk management program.
- Ensures the risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations.
- Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
- Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
- Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.
