Primary Purpose
This position will support the Memorabilia Department as a key role in data entry, SKU creation and inventory management, among other things . This individual must be willing and able to work with other businesses inside and outside of Fanatics.
Duties and Responsibilities
The individual in this role will provide administrative support for the Memorabilia department in totality. This includes but is not limited to:
- Data Entry. Creation of Stock Keeping Units (SKU) using Microsoft Excel, inventory control and management, emails, contact with vendors.
- Inventory tracking and payment to vendors.
- Assisting with purchase orders, product transfers, inventory transfers, shipping and receiving of products.
- Sorting of incoming packages.
- Coordinating raw goods (memorabilia items such as trading cards and ticket stubs) to signings.
- Partner with the fulfillment center to accurately receive products.
- Follow manager direction across the division to perform other duties as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Superior communication skills on various levels. Must have articulate speech, proper business writing skills, ability to listen and address concerns from vendors and clients alike.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and problem solve in what can become a high-pressure environment. This industry is often driven by “hot market” events which require the ability to pivot into finishing tasks in crucial time periods.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions at times with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the trading card and memorabilia industry 2 or more years preferred. (Need to have basic knowledge of sports and trading cards).
