JOB SUMMARY: The Kansas City Chiefs and 65 Toss Power Trap Productions (65TPT) are looking for a talented, passionate and creative full-time Manager of Production to lead our social video team. The Manager of Production – Social will work with the Content and Production department and Social Media team to create short-form, compelling, social-first content. This position will work closely with the entire Media and Marketing team as a whole to create engaging content for Chiefs Kingdom. The Manager of Production - Social position will be required to capture and edit content as well as manage a team of social producers while working alongside the Social Media team from ideation to execution and delivery.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Directly responsible for content production as outlined by social, marketing, and partnerships.
2. Use Adobe Creative Suite to assemble, edit, process, color correct, format, and export video projects from start to finish.
3. Manage producer(s), editors (full time or freelance), and seasonal employees and oversee the Social Video content arm of 65TPT.
4. Work alongside VP of Content and Production, Senior Director of Production and producers on the team (65 TPT) in efforts to deliver weekly, social content across both internal and external channels.
5. Work alongside of Senior Director of Social and Director of Digital on ideation and execution of shoots and edits for the social team.
6. Work as director of photography / lead camera, capturing footage as assigned (utilizing gear/shooting styles for social/shortform content).
7. Deep experience with social best practices, creating compelling content and optimizing delivery for appropriate social platforms.
8. Lead ideation and execution of social content ideas.
9. Work with Creative Traffic Manager to create and hone workflows for social video team that promote efficiency and ability to increase production.
10. Actively seek out industry trends and innovative technology and techniques that will elevate and enhance team content on all channels.
11. Use Chiefs media asset management software (Iconik) to ingest, log, categorize and organize all footage.
12. Perform tasks as needed – including but not limited to - live production, shooting, sound recording, edit direction, music scoring, color correction, audio editing and mixing, and copywriting.
13. Able to work individually or as a team on projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of 4 years of producing short form social content at a high level.
2. Management, oversight of personnel for a minimum of 2 years is required.
3. Experience using and working with footage from cinema cameras including but not limited to ARRI Alexa 35, ARRI Amira, and DJI 4D a plus.
4. Proficiency in tracking and measuring the success of video content in the digital space and the ability to apply those lessons to future creative strategy.
5. Extensive demonstrated knowledge of production equipment needed. (Expertise in post-production, field/studio/location-production, sound recording, and program development and execution needed).
6. Must be proficient using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Avid.
7. Demonstrated polished communication and learning skills.
