Overview

The OneUSU CRM team may have a perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to help us build and maintain USU’s enterprise rollout of Salesforce Education Cloud.
The person filling this role will join existing Salesforce professionals who enjoy learning and working with various technologies from the Salesforce product portfolio, and love USU! Collaborating with individuals from a diverse array of different IT backgrounds, you’ll work to make the OneUSU CRM initiative a resounding success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Salesforce admins, business stakeholders, and other key USU teams (e.g. Enterprise Integrations), to architect and develop solutions to critical USU business needs involving the OneUSU CRM.
- Write exemplary code to extend and support the out-of-the-box and declarative functionality underpinning Salesforce Education Cloud.
- Identify and reduce system technical debt.
- Execute key phases of software development projects, including resolving issues/troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate and timely deployments of new features.
- Support a great end user experience and thoughtful and creative UX design.
- Build solutions that incorporate Salesforce best practices, and set the standard for system architecture and design, using platform tools such as JavaScript, LWCs, APEX, Visualforce, SOQL, OmniStudio, and Flow.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (IT or IT-adjacent field preferred)
- English fluency and ability to communicate professionally, with a variety of mechanisms/tools (e.g. oral, e-mail, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- 6 years of full-time professional Salesforce Development experience, with exposure to APEX, LWC’s, SOQL, and VisualForce.
- Ability to collaborate as a key member of the CRM team and work independently on assigned projects and tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and deploying Salesforce solutions that incorporate OmniStudo components.
- Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g. Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, JavaScript Developer 1, etc.)
- Salesforce Administrator certifications (e.g. Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Education Cloud Consultant, etc.), and experience with Flow are a plus.
- Experience working with architecture that incorporates and makes appropriate use of declarative and programmatic solutions, in tandem.
- Experience working with integration technologies such as REST, various Salesforce APIs, SSO, etc.
- Salesforce DevOps experience using contemporary ecosystem tools (e.g. GitHub, DevOps Center, Gearset, Copado, etc.).
- Scripting experience with languages commonly used in data migration or ETL operations (e.g. Python).
