International Special Operations Liaison Officer (SOLO) Program Support SME

About the Role

Culmen International is seeking an International Special Operations Liason Officer Program Support SME to support our customer onsite at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

The SOCOM J3-International enables the SOF enterprise to enhance interoperability and strengthenrelationships with and among global SOF partners in order to provide strategic options for the UnitedStates and Partner Nations (PN) and serves as an international SOF coordination center. Personnel acts asOffice of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for SOCOM’s International Engagement and Visitor Program.

 

The team also is responsible for reception, personnel services, family and soldier support, and integration ofall PN SOF representatives assigned to HQ SOCOM during their entire assignment. J3-I also manages theUS Special Operations Liaison Officer (SOLO) Program where hand-picked US Special Operators representSOCOM to selected allied nation SOF organizations worldwide.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international relations, economics, or related field.
• Graduate of Dept of State Foreign Service Institute or equivalent U.S. military program ofinstruction.
• Served as Foreign Service or Foreign Area Officer with 10+ years’ experience as a member ofa U.S. Embassy country team, deployed developmental worker, or other member of Dept. ofState or U.S. Agency for International Development.
• 3+ years’ experience in a federal agency, GCC, or service headquarters in policy development,international agreements, and strategy.
• 2+ years’ experience or academic coursework in negotiations. Acceptable example would beexperience negotiating Memos of Agreement or Understanding.
• Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
