KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for supervising all warehouse and receiving functions including receipt, storage, filling and delivery of orders, inspection, computer data input, accounting, rotation and inventory of all items received at the Council Bluffs, Iowa properties receiving docks located at both the property Warehouse and at the Offsite Records Warehouse location.   
  • Achieves desired results through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service.  Then, monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Makes changes if necessary to achieve end result.
  • Assists Regional Warehouse Manager in adhering to and establishing warehouse and receiving policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with the Caesars standard operating procedures. 
  • Responsible for securing and inspecting incoming products against the purchase orders to ensure specifications are correct and when defects are note, arranges for return of those defective products
  • Ensures prompt delivery of UPS/FedEx packages to internal customers and maintains accurate delivery tracking of packages 
  • Responsible for transferring and transporting all materials to designated locations between and within all user departments such as office furniture, records, recycling, etc.
  • Partners with the Regional Buying Team to ensure procurement and receipt of products are controlled and assists to reconcile warehouse /purchasing variances
  • Use of forklift, hand pallet jacks are a plus
  • Accountability for all Team Members for both daily and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing Team Members which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
  • Responsible for scheduling (planning, assigning and delegating tasks) to meet business demands to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction during all business hours.   
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
  • Responsible for time tracking using Company scheduling system 
  • Responsible for creating monthly measurement reports to review inactive stock, resolve open receivers, and to review par-level adjustments, etc. 
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment and adhering to internal warehouse safety policies and Health Department standards.   
  • Assists with maintain budget and financials 
  • Assists the Accounting Team to conduct monthly inventories and assists with reconciliation and troubleshooting inventory discrepancies
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area or equivalent business experience required. 
  • 3 years experience in warehouse/receiving field with a progressively more challenging role.
