Producer, Executive

The Executive Producer works as part of the news management team supervising news content across all media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial objectives
• Manage newsroom, contribute to the editorial process and help lead in breaking news situations
• Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film or the equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in television news as a producer or executive producer
• Must be able to interact well with anchors, reporters, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staff
• Detail oriented
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
• Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations
• Utilize state-of-art television technology

Salary ranges from $110,000-$120,000 based off experience.
