Senior Program Coordinator - Innovation

The Senior Program Coordinator will manage projects that drive cutting-edge innovation, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate research insights and emerging technologies into market-ready solutions. The incumbent will participate in activities to inform innovation portfolio priorities. These activities may include assessments of clinical needs, market needs and opportunities assessment, and technical viability. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of prioritized projects including developing project plans, driving project progress, managing project budgets, and preparing project status reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic or industrial research, strong project management skills, and comfortable with agile-based project approaches.
Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, health care or science related field with a minimum of 2 years of program-related experience. Masters degree preferred. Broad-based management or project management experience is preferred in order to coordinate a wide range of activities. Working knowledge of program development, program evaluation, data management, and computer/related systems are required. Strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff, and external partnerships is required. Must have the ability to independently manage a varied workload of projects and assignments with multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. Relevant program certification preferred.
