Position Overview Elite Rehab Physical Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, Virginia. Work Environment This position involves working closely with a small, collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The work setting is on-site within patients' homes, allowing for tailored therapy solutions that cater directly to individual needs. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured schedule with the convenience of minimal weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their needs, goals, and the extent of their mobility challenges. Create comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s unique situation. Provide personalized treatments aimed at enhancing range of motion, improving mobility, and facilitating recovery, seeing 2-3 patients per hour. Utilize evidence-based practices to inspire and encourage patients, helping them realize their potential for improved physical health. Regularly analyze treatment effectiveness and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all interactions and treatments meticulously using EMR software such as WebPT. Engage in continuous communication with other medical professionals to coordinate care effectively, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are considered. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on patients who may be recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, or post-operative care procedures. By employing innovative therapeutic techniques, you will play a critical role in helping these patients return to their previous levels of activity, while possibly helping to reduce reliance on medication and promoting non-surgical recovery options. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is essential. A valid state Physical Therapist License is required, with no board or disciplinary actions on record. Demonstrable skills in manual therapy are essential for patient treatment. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle complex cases effectively. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous for seamless patient management.
