The Eastman Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Program Manager will play an instrumental role in building and ensuring flawless execution of key elements of Eastman’s I&D strategy. Work products will take multiple formats including frameworks, self-service tools, development activities, communications, analytics and specific consultation based on leader need. The Program Manager needs the ability to access and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, address partner concerns, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as they implement centralized guidance around program execution is critical. In addition, this person plays a key role work closely with the ERGs, Talent Management and HR Managers to link the Eastman’s I&D strategy to execute on initiatives to drive progress on inclusion and diversity goals. This position reports directly to the VP, Global Talent & Inclusion.
How you will help us innovate to build a better world
- Consulting and Collaboration: Partner with HR and business/functional leaders to provide insights to support implementation of key business/functional I&D priorities. Leverage expertise and internal and external resources to promote effective outcomes.
- Manage Projects: Apply strong project management skills for Inclusion and Diversity projects and rollouts in support of key partners and stakeholders across HR and the business. Ensure execution to outcomes on time and within budget and scope. This includes creating project delivery timelines, creating project plans, identifying project risks, and managing project scope from start to finish.
- Manage I&D Communications: Support and execute communication plans and materials on Inclusion and Diversity topics. Maintain Inclusion and Diversity SharePoint site design and content to ensure relevance.
- Lead Eastman Resource Group Advisor: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ERG and their leaders. Ensure alignment and integration of ERG strategic plans and programming with Eastman’s I&D goals and strategy. Assist ERG Chairs in development and implementation of annual strategic plans and budgets. Build awareness of, and support for, ERGs throughout Eastman, mobilizing program stakeholders in the advancement of program goals. Link ERGs with key Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development partners to prioritize opportunities on which to collaborate and execute. Strengthen ERG efforts, by coordinating across the ERGs to share strategies, benchmarks, and learnings, identify areas to align efforts, address challenges and make recommendations for improvement.
- Data Management & Analytics: Identify and recommend appropriate metrics and tools to assess the effectiveness and impact of I&D initiatives. Manage data analysis and reporting for assigned responsibilities and special requests. Also ensure all project documents are updated, completed, and archived in an organized way in a central knowledge base.

- Undergraduate degree required, MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of professional experience within human resources or talent management function in client-facing, consulting capacity.
- Able to build relationships and influence key partners, ability to get results through collaboration.
- Strong project management, written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
