Senior Government Rates Analyst

As the Senior Government Rates Analyst, you will work as part of the Government Finance team preparing Government required submissions, interfacing with the U.S. Government representatives during periods of audit inquiry and working with the Business to provide compliance consultation.

Key Accountabilities:
Work directly with Customer Representatives including Defense Contract Management Agency and Defense Contract Audit Agency
Serve as initial point of contact for Internal and Government audits of formal Government submissions
Strong SAP financial data gathering and advanced excel skills for submission preparation
Understanding the requirements of US Department of Defense (DOD): Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations and Cost Accounting Standards regulations to interpret company compliance and advise on improvements when required
Prepare labor and overhead rates with supporting documentation as well as submission of DOD Disclosure Statements and accounting change impact submissions
Understanding of Rolls-Royce cost center structure and relationships to determine various cost impacts
Basic Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and 4+ years of financial experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and 2+ years of financial experience, OR
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management, or
JD/PHD, OR
6+ years of financial experience in lieu of degree
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in submitting Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and/or Incurred Cost Submissions
Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP and FileMaker Pro
Experience with the U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and working knowledge of Customer Facing Business Unit proposal process
