Visiting Assistant Professor and Interim Director of University Writing Centerd Position

This visiting assistant professor will serve as Interim Director of the Oklahoma State University Writing Center. Responsibilities include overseeing the workings of a dynamic Writing Center, including its satellite centers and community outreach programs. The person hired for this position will also teach a 4-4 load, one course of which is a 1-credit hour Writing Center Theory and Pedagogy course and two courses that are 3-credit hours each semester. There will also be a 1-1 course release for serving as the Director. This is a 9-month non-renewable contract beginning August 2025. 

Qualifications

Appropriate terminal degree and appropriate credentials are required. Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.  OSU offers the BA, MFA, and the PhD in English. For further information on the department, see our webpage at http://english.okstate.edu.
