Develop and oversee Edwards programs focusing on employee wellness and health education, to ensure effectiveness of programs as a means to attract and retain talent.  Run the day-to-day operations of the EW Fitness Center, including, guidance to fitness center members, ensure group fitness classes are conducted, and ensure we consistently meet the needs of employees.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide day-to-day management of fitness facility, scheduling classes and events, scheduling required maintenance on equipment, gathering input about facility and equipment from members and acting on that input, reporting and metrics.
  • Assess short-term and long-term needs of fitness center and employee needs; Provide programming recommendations, fitness programs and other programs to ensure employees are working towards improving their overall health
  • Develop communication materials and present programs to employees. Develop communication and implementation of strategies for both new and current programs
  • Lead wellness programs including analyzing results relative to desired outcomes (ROI) and cost effectiveness of programs, developing findings, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and conduct stretching and ergonomic programs within the clean-room to minimize repetitive stress injuries.
  • Develop executive summary of benchmarking fitness/wellness surveys results and propose recommendations / programs including cost impact analysis
  • Manage budget for assigned area (e.g, wellness, fitness center) and making recommendations for cost efficiencies; and implement items within threshold

What you’ll need (required)

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent four years related experience

What else we look for (preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science (or related degree)
  • Good computer in the use of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Proven track record of managing health and wellness programs
  • Must be able to work independently and apply good judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies and procedures
  • Full knowledge and understanding of fitness programs
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and/or contacts outside the organization
  • Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
