The Sr. Director, Global Trade Compliance will be a trusted partner to our global business as they oversee and continuously improve our trade compliance function, with a sharp focus on processes and tools that ensure compliance in all of the countries in which Entegris operates. The Sr. Director leads teams in the US, Asia and Europe responsible for integrating and executing to the dynamic regulatory landscape. The Sr. Director, Global Trade Compliance will interact with business leaders, external and internal advisors, peers, government agencies and industry associations to gain insight to new legislation that impact Entegris’ products or customers.

In this role you will:
Management of company-wide policies and procedures, definition and implementation of solutions to ensure compliance of export and import transactions. Manage relationships with foreign trade governmental agencies, import/export consultants and brokers. Work closely with Business Leaders and Product Experts, Law Department, and Regional Trade Compliance and Logistics representatives.
Specifics:
- Continuously enhance knowledge of global export and import regulations of the US and countries in which Entegris operates. Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, WCO, DEA, CWC and global equivalents. Entegris’ growing business landscape may require the rapid incorporation of additional expertise. Distill regulations and impact to Entegris, operationalize with procedures and tools to reduce risk of non-compliance.
- Ensure business leadership is engaged and informed of the compliance environment. Assess and advise of impacts of regulatory changes that could impact Entegris. Seek management support for process changes.
- Communicate trade compliance risk mitigation strategies within the Entegris Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Participate in Due Diligence studies and lead the integration of Trade Compliance aspects of acquired companies. Establish processes for immediate application of Entegris’ compliance program.
- Manage training programs and materials for all departments and subsidiaries with a nexus to Trade Compliance.
- Continuously optimize Entegris’ duty expense profile by utilizing available duty management vehicles such as Duty Drawback, Free Trade Agreements, Foreign Trade manufacturing Zones, and others. Ensure programs are documented and requirements for compliance with program parameters are understood and adhered to.
- Maintain Compliance Program and Manuals describing Entegris’ export, import and technology assessments. Improve and adapt to align with changes in regulations or best practices.
- Develop compliance technology roadmap including SAP Global Trade Services and other software solutions which satisfy compliance requirements. Outline requirements, enact testing, document processes, and provide training to user community.
- Prepare and coordinate Ruling requests, Jurisdiction requests, Classification determinations and Export Licenses for submission to regulatory agencies. Facilitate with the Law Department and consultants the investigation and development of voluntary self-disclosures in the event they may be needed.
- Implement appropriate compliance audits (internal and external), oversee corrective action plans.
