Principal Human Resources Coordinator

This Associate performs a wide variety of Leave Management activities. Those may include updating key transactions into the Human Resources processing system, answering and managing a high volume of work in Salesforce, ensuring all documentation and system updates are accurate and meet regulatory requirements all with a focus on providing an exceptional associate experience. A successful candidate would offer and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies, compliance adherence and the associate experience. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide additional support in auditing, testing and reporting and will be responsible for the documentation of leave in all Human Resources systems, will prioritize work from external Human Resources vendors, fulfill ad hoc Human Resources requests and will communicate with partners and associates about leave policy and pay issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provides additional information and guidance to associates with questions concerning their leave management options

• Performs a variety of regularly scheduled and ad-hoc audits of leave management data to maintain compliance with established standards

• Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role

• Regular attendance is required to be successful in this role and overtime may be required as business needs dictates

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Exceptional customer experience skills

• Familiarity with the leave and benefit programs

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

• At least 1 year of accounting, payroll or benefits experience

• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree

• 1+ years of experience with Workday HR System

• 1+ years of experience with case management systems

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
