Maintenance Tech

Position Summary 

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the St. Louis Wheel and surround attractions. This role performs routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and structural components. The technician plays a key part in maintaining safety standards and supporting an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, experienced in general maintenance, and comfortable with heights. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all OSHA and manufacturer safety regulations. 

• Assist in daily safety inspections to ensure safe operations and a positive guest experience. 

• Assist in maintaining required inspection and safety records. 

• Communicate with the maintenance manager and other team members regarding maintenance issues. 

• Ensure a clean, safe environment for employees and guests. 

• Assist the Maintenance Manager and other Maintenance Technicians with various maintenance tasks and duties. 

• Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance. 

• Experience in a theme park or attraction setting is preferred. 

• Ability to stand for long periods. 

• Ability to climb ladders up to 90 feet and work on delicate systems. 

• Proficiency in using general maintenance tools, including multimeters. 

• Extreme attention to detail, manual dexterity, and an aptitude for electrical work and electronics. 

• Availability to work an irregular schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
