As the Associate Director, Global Commercial, BRUKINSA, you will take on a critical role in helping to shape the strategic direction and growth of the brand. You will be responsible for driving or providing strong support to critical commercial global initiatives, including but not limited to global commercial positioning and messaging, global commercial launches, commercial presence and leadership at congresses, competitive readiness, and ownership of critical administrative tasks within the global commercial team. This role requires strong collaboration with the local markets and cross-functional partners. This position will also lend support to other BRUKINSA workstreams as needed. The role reports to the Executive Director, Global Commercial Lead, BRUKINSA.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Support development and drive implementation of global commercial strategy, including positioning and messaging, across five diseases, with particular focus on CLL
- Lead development of marketing content and tools, including personal and non-personal, by working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Hold engagements and working sessions with Global Brand Team to align on global strategy and execution
- Manage agency relationships to develop promotional deliverables aligned to global commercial strategy
- Lead the development, organization, and delivery of product-related trainings and updates to local markets with new content
- Demonstrate leadership excellence in project management by effectively managing multiple projects and priorities, including close working with agencies
- Champion strategic decision-making, leveraging market research, competitive intelligence, and insights to develop proactive strategies that drive brand success
- Support other members of the team in launch readiness, competitive readiness, and brand planning
- Lead commercial congress presence at key global scientific meetings, including exhibit, product theatres, and surround sound
- Ensure that all marketing activities are in compliance with BeOne’s standards, and support and manage all activities associated with the review and approval of promotional materials to ensure compliant and timely delivery
- Forge strong team-oriented working relationship with local market and cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage global commercial team budget, including close tracking of SOWs, POs, and invoices, to ensure financial excellence and diligence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a commercial or marketing role in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, or within an advertising agency in support of pharmaceutical/biotechnology. At least three years of experience in hematology and/or highly competitive markets is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and processes within a growing organization
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to a changing environment
- Strong ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Expertise and track record of successful marketing plan development and implementation
- Experience managing projects for on-time, on-budget delivery
- Strong team player who can incorporate input from key stakeholders and drive alignment
- Digital Marketing experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including strong formal presentation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials
- Demonstrated experience delivering impactful launch and brand content.
- Strong ability and desire to work across time zones, geographies, and cultures to improve the lives of patients and caregivers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- At present, this position will not be responsible for management of direct reports. However, it will require agency management, local market collaboration, and significant cross-functional team leadership.
