Core Responsibilities

In this position as Senior Qualification Manager Specialist, you will bridge innovation and industrialization, ensuring that new solutions are scalable, reliable, and impactful. You will empower teams to explore opportunities, adopt modern tools and methods, and turn ideas into sustainable business value. You participate in specific and relevant projects, securing implementation of these, carry out the overall strategy for elements within own and relevant areas. More specifically, you will:

  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and digital platforms

  • Translate innovative concepts into scalable, industrialised solutions

  • Enable and empower colleagues to find and implement new ways of working

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

  • Understand, enhance and demonstrate the LEGO® values (Imagination, Creativity, Fun, Learning, Caring & Quality) with key emphasis on the building system

  • Be a key driver in delivering strategies within your own area, while playing an instrumental role in change management

  • Proactively contribute to a collaborative, supportive and innovative culture that includes the entire LEGO® value chain

  • Apply and share achieved knowledge in a broader context, clearly communicating with diverse stakeholders (quality, development, production, etc.) with an open and constructive mindset 

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will join our Element & Mould Validation (EMV) team, which serves as the final validation and qualification point before manufacturing. The team ensures that all elements and moulds are delivered according to the right standards, specifications and timelines. Furthermore, they act as the bridge between innovation/development and industrialisation/manufacturing.

The team is located in Billund, Denmark, and consists of 11 highly specialised colleagues with strong LEGO® expertise across the value chain. 

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of proven knowledge and hands-on experience working new technologies, bridgebuilding innovation and industrialization, quality management in a manufacturing environment. This gives you a strong foundation to understand the value chain functions and interconnects. Furthermore, you will have:   

  • Engineering educational background within quality, manufacturing, development or equivalent field

  • Solid knowledge of injection moulding

  • Project Management skills

  • Eagerness to understand, challenge and implement new ways of working, processes and change management

  • Analytical and adaptive mindset

  • Open-minded attitude embracing diversity as an opportunity to bring in new perspectives, ideas, and approaches

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities building strong networks and relationships across the organization 

  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal

It will be an advantage, if you have: 

  • Experience with element and mould validation and qualification

  • Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma

  • Understanding of the LEGO value chain and building system

  • Danish language skills
