Position Summary:
Lead the Enterprise Imaging Team: Responsible for imaging technology platforms such as PACS, CPACS, and RIS, including system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Partner with clinical and radiology teams to align technology solutions with clinical workflows.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, compliance, and system performance evaluations.
Data Management: Oversee data management and analytics to improve system performance and provide actionable insights.
Strategic Planning: Align imaging technology initiatives with organizational goals and ensure proper security and compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Works in conjunction with the Director – Applications and Project Management and business units to develop, maintain and implement the organizations Information Services Strategic Plan.
Project Management: Lead imaging technology projects, ensuring that budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met. Provides input to the development of corporate IT standards and policies to ensure compatibility and integration throughout the company
Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or Radiology Technology (advanced degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of healthcare IT management experience, with a focus on imaging technologies. Strong leadership and vendor management skills. Proven project management experience with large-scale technology implementations.
