The Senior Finance Manager role will be a key business partner to help the Automotive business unit achieve its objectives. The role will require a growth mindset as we aspire to continue our ambitious growth and deliver double-digit revenue growth. This entails collaboration with product development and sales to identify new opportunities as well as business unit operations to ensure effective, scalable processes to drive productivity.

Job Description
- Management of Automotive BU month end close, forecast, budget, strategic plan and Regional Corporate reporting including creation/coordination of executive review material for internal BU and regional management.
- Revenue and commission forecast (including plan development); Identify, quantify, qualify and communicate risks and opportunities with accountability to forecast accuracy. Development of product revenue forecast models & revenue driver analysis
- Assist with the monthly close, reconciliations, and variance analyses, including journal entry preparation as needed
- Create and initiate performance scorecards (KPI) that will be utilized by the business – providing actionable insights and drive actions to optimize business budget/targets.
- Partner with remote finance shared services and management of a dotted line team supporting revenue and commission with a focus on business partnering, ownership, accountability and development
- Detailed business partnering with sales and pipeline management for revenue forecast purposes as well as uncovering growth opportunities
- Facilitate reporting process improvement and explore opportunities to continuously improve functionality and automation of reporting needs such that reporting is standardized, scalable, and sustainable through Robotics Process Automation and LEAN. Drive the use of Empower, RPA and other improvement technologies/methodologies with an eye toward scalability
- Special projects & financial modelling, as assigned
This position reports to the Senior Director, Automotive Finance
Qualifications
- BS or BA in Finance/Accounting/Economics required. MBA, CPA, or relevant Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive financial experience including high-level financial planning and analysis and business unit experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills across cultures with a positive attitude and a focus on collaboration and team success
- Previous hands-on management of business unit financial analysis and support of operational teams is required
- Demonstrated organization skills in a change-oriented environment and ability to operate autonomously and thrive in unchartered waters
- Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey and present complex issues in a simple manner
