We are looking for a dependable and motivated Lead Store Sales Associate to support store management with daily operations, customer service, sales goals, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.</p> <p> </p> <p><span>What You’ll Do</span></p> <p>• Assist with store opening and closing procedures</p> <p>• Operate cash registers and assist team members with register support</p> <p>• Support management with daily store operations and sales goals</p> <p>• Help maintain store appearance, organization, and safety standards</p> <p>• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer concerns</p> <p>• Support merchandise rotation, stocking, and sales floor presentation</p> <p>• Assist with banking procedures and daily deposits as assigned</p> <p>• Communicate store concerns or incidents to management</p> <p>• Help guide and support team members during shifts as assigned</p> <p>• Safeguard company assets and help reduce product loss</p> <p><span>Training Provided</span></p> <p>• Paid training on store procedures and register operations</p> <p>• Ongoing coaching and support from store leadership</p> <p>• Opportunity to build leadership and retail experience</p> <p><span>Why Join Us</span></p> <p>• Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community</p> <p>• On-the-job training and leadership development</p> <p>• Team-oriented environment</p> <p>• Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!</p> <strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong> <p><span>Required</span></p> <p>• Ability to provide friendly customer service and support store operations</p> <p>• Reliable attendance and punctuality</p> <p>• Basic leadership, communication, and teamwork skills</p> <p>• Basic math and computer skills</p> <p>• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately handle cash transactions</p> <p>• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed</p> <p>• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift</p> <p>• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day</p> <p>• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly</p> <p>• Valid Driver’s License with ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per policy</p> <p>• High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p><span>Preferred</span></p> <p>• Previous retail or thrift store experience</p> <p>• Experience leading or directing team members</p> <p>• Previous cash handling and customer service experience</p> <p> </p> <p><span>The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
