Compensation:                   $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join the Accounting team. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is a key member of the External Reporting team within the Corporate Controller function. This role reports to the Financial Reporting Manager and will be responsible for assisting with maintaining the financial reporting function for the company.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a financial reporting cadence and requirements in accordance with SEC reporting requirements
• Managing all external financial reporting filings, including quarterly earnings releases and SEC filings (Form S1, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Annual Report, Proxy Statement, etc.)
• Partner with external auditors to conduct reviews and audits
• Prepare quarterly and ad hoc financial schedules and analyses
• Perform technical accounting research and the preparation of memos and white papers
• Identify gaps in accounting policy documentation and draft and implement new accounting policies
• Preparation of Board and Audit Committee materials
• Oversee special projects as assigned
• Comply with SOX 404 and internal control standards
• Manage compliance with accounting practices and procedures

 

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BA and/ or MS in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 5 years progressive experience in finance and/or accounting, including public accounting experience
• Experience working on publicly traded companies (Big 4 firm preferred)
• Experience with SEC reporting and technical GAAP research and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Highly driven, self-starter
