The Sr. Technical Program Manager will serve as the central driver of complex, cross-functional software development programs at Moderna. Operating at the intersection of strategy, execution, and technical leadership, this individual contributor will coordinate program timelines, align stakeholders, and ensure seamless delivery across engineering, product, and operations. Here’s What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading end-to-end technical program execution, from scope definition through to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to define requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Managing program timelines, resources, dependencies, and risks to enable successful project outcomes.
Acting as the primary liaison for program status, communicating regularly with senior leadership and global stakeholders.
Implementing Agile practices and iterating on process improvements to drive execution velocity.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Cultivating accountability, visibility, and clear communication across multiple teams and time zones.
Optimizing the use of program tools, technologies, and reporting structures to streamline delivery.
Ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place and actively resolving delivery challenges or bottlenecks.
Managing program-level budgeting and resource allocation with a focus on value-driven delivery.
Championing opportunities to integrate advanced technologies, including generative AI, to accelerate digital transformation and patient impact.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex technical programs or software development projects.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, with expertise in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
