Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Specialty ingredients G.P. business at our Kenedy, Texas location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Quality function. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintain ISO and EFfCI quality management system.
Conduct Quality GMP internal audits and coordinate corrective actions.
Process sample requests paperwork.
Coordinate and track samples requiring 3rd party quality testing.
Maintain site's operating procedures within "Sharepoint" document management system.
Serve as site documentation control coordinator.
Coordinate operator certification paperwork.
Perform GMP production and quality documents checks per ISO standards.
Provide back-up for label processing and shipping functions.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

High school diploma
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and adapt to change.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

ISO 9001:2015 training
2+ years plant or plant related experience
