Position Summary

This Morrisville, NC based Human Resources Coordinator will complement a high functioning and collaborative team, supporting core HR administrative activities spanning across multiple business units. Interfacing with the Americas Commercial Human Resources Team, this HR Coordinator will be customer-oriented and proactive in activities surrounding the HR pillars of talent acquisition, learning and development, and providing an exceptional employee experience. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Complete I-9 verifications in a timely manner to ensure compliance.
•    Provide an exceptional experience for new employees. Activities will include but are not limited to welcome letters, introductory meetings, supporting new hire orientation activities. 
•    Provide a supportive offboarding employee experience. Activities will include providing termination letter, FAQs, collecting Teleflex property, assisting managers with terminations in the HRIS system, and ensuring all supporting documentation is included in the employee files. 
•    Maintain employee personnel files. 
•    Partnering with the HR team, talent acquisition, and hiring managers, provide assistance in tracking open positions and creating all necessary and required paperwork surrounding the submission of job requisitions. 
•    Assist the HR team in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, scheduling meetings, preparing communications and newsletters, activity tracking, and organizing various employee training programs and events.
•    Provide timely first-line support for general employee questions. 
•    Support scheduling and preparation of documents for performance management and key talent development programs.
•    Collaborate with HR team members to drive best practices and support the Teleflex core values.
•    Build strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence and shared services, to include Global Compensation, HR Operations, Benefits, Payroll, and IT to provide top level support to employees.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
•    2+ years in a professional, administrative office setting (HR administrative responsibilities is a plus).

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
•    Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and successfully prioritize and shift focus to respond to the business needs and meet deadlines
•    Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS tools
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate both in a core team and cross-functional team environment
•    Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems, and best practices
•    Ability to act with integrity and maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all circumstances
