<p><strong>Controlling-Reporting Senior Accountant - Your future position?</strong></p>

<p>As a Controlling-Reporting Senior Accountant in our Budapest site, you will perform controlling and reporting duties in order to deliver the required services to all internal and external customers according to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations. You will esnure correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in Finance & Controlling according to the requirements specified in your job description Taking direction from the direct Manager, Team Lead and GSEs on specific tasks.</p>

<p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Business Partnering</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
Build constructive and effective relationships with the business and stakeholders
</li>
<li>
Take over ownership and find the solution for encountered issues and problems
</li>
<li>
Actively collaborate with local Finance to support their daily operations
</li>
<li>
Follow up on any issue and inform the Team Lead timely manner
</li>
<li>
Support Controller in performance management of site operations
</li>
<li>
Represent Givaudan DNA and CI mindset
</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Professional responsibilites</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
Inventory control and valuation (perform inventory closing, variance, WIP calculation, provision)
</li>
<li>
Book journal entries, clear GL accounts, take an active part and ensure the accurate and timely completion of the month/year end closing activities, including accruals and revaluation; Provide data for auditors
</li>
<li>
Ensure the completion of reporting (month end close related) and reconcile Balance sheet accounts
</li>
<li>
Follow the internal audit control point and ensure the completeness
</li>
<li>
Understand and follow processes with the relevant Policies
</li>
<li>
Perform daily workflow requests (Transfer pricing and Material related)
</li>
<li>
Analyse Controlling/Reporting activities, make proposals to improve and standardize the processes
</li>
<li>
Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting upon request
</li>
<li>
Actively participate in and coordinate projects and process improvements
</li>
<li>
Prepare and update work instructions and SOP
</li>
<li>
Provide support and train junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer
</li>
<li>
Take part in the yearly Budget process
</li>
<li>
Explore new way of solution, harmonise, standardize the process
</li>
<li>
Payment approval on DB and Citibank transfers
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Your professional profile includes:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Finance degree (college or university and Chartered accountant, Tax advisor)</li>
<li>Fluent English level</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years in Finance area (Controlling, factory experience preferred, GL Accountant)</li>
<li>Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools, SAP experience is preferred</li>
