Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Integration Developer to join our team in a Remote position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the project’s Architectural staff in the development of integration and software solutions. Participation will require providing feedback as well as critiques as appropriate to proposed designs and solutions.
- Interacting with external technical and business personnel in order to gather architectural and business requirements.
- Creating appropriate architectural and/or design documentation that will be utilized by the development staff responsible for the creation and implementation of the requirements.
- Working with requirements that will require solutions for areas that may be beyond your area immediate area of expertise.
- Providing software development and testing efforts on a as needed basis.
- Participating in the software architectural process for the application modernization of a mainframe application.
- Participating in the development of new business features and infrastructure components in support of mainframe modernization architectural and business requirements
- Stimulate innovative ideas and offer out-of-the-box thinking.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment but also being cognizant that waterfall procedures may need to be utilized as well.
- Mentor junior team members and train on architectural best practices.
- Participate in all parts of SDLC including design, development, documentation, testing, and implementation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree
- Minimum of 8 years hands-on software engineering experience.
- Data integration experience developing and maintaining one-way and two-way information exchange between systems using technologies including FTP, SFTP, IBM MQ, Active MQ, and JMS
- Hands on code development experience using Java.
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) product such as IntelliJ and/or Eclipse/IBM Rational Developer/IBM Rational Software Architect
- Strong familiarity with the Agile Software Development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to speak out with conviction in support of your proposed solutions.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Java 18 and integration with Spring Boot.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and associated Frameworks such as React
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience developing REST APIs utilizing Spring Boot.
