Position Title: Assistant Superintendent of Research, Assessment, Data, Accountability & Reporting (Education Programs Administrator 3) 

Classification: Education Programs Administrator 3 

Salary: $12,227.00-$18,959.00 ($13,077.00-$20,277.00 PERS) 

 This position meets the unclassified service criteria in ORS 240.205 (11) as the associate superintendent that oversees the Office of Research, Assessment, Data, Accountability, and Reporting and serves at the pleasure of the agency appointing authority (DAS CHRO Policy 40.035.01). This role works a professional Monday–Friday schedule, with evening or weekend hours as needed. As a Fair Labor Standards Act Exempt position, the workload frequently exceeds 40 hours per week. The work involves highly complex, sensitive, and politically significant issues requiring collaborative, strategic, and respectful engagement with agency leadership, the Governor’s Office, the State Board of Education, legislators, local education agencies, community partners, and stakeholders across the state. 

This position follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will be required when business or operational needs are best supported in person, such as collaboration, training, or work that requires access to onsite resources. Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection and maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity. While working remotely, employees are expected to maintain the same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they would be in the office.
