Senior Regional FP&A Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Regional FP&A Analyst (f/m/d) to be responsible for a subset of the local European markets in the European team. You will partner with local and global teams to develop finance insights that drive growth and profitability for the region. The role is located in Berlin and will report to the Head of FP&A.

What's on the menu for you:

●      You develop (financial) models and templates (in alignment with Global HQ) for all forecasting activities, including strategic planning, capital allocation and cash management

●      You monitor monthly financial and operational performance by analyzing the mid-month run rates and key KPIs. Influence countries’ management to implement your suggestions to improve KPIs and reach targets  

●      You analyze financial and operational results to better understand financial performance and make actionable recommendations based on P&L, balance-sheet, Cash Flow and non-financials KPIs

●      You manage improvement initiatives such as revenue increasing activities, or cost savings strategies

●      You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities and serve as the business partner during e.g., investment case proposals

●      You guide and support local finance teams, building processes from bottom up. Be the point of contact for countries' finance leads.

●      You work closely with the Regional Management team incl. CFO/CEO and support them with ad-hoc analysis. 

What you can bring to the table:

●      You gained 5+ years of (not counting internships) of working experience at investment banking firm, corporate finance / transaction advisory services team or finance function in an e-commerce / digital environment

●      You enjoy solving advanced Excel modeling challenges and gained experience in P&L and project management

●      You have a high degree of comfort with analytics, numbers and the capability to draw decisions based on both intuition and data

●      You are a hands-on team player with advanced communication skills, verbally and written

●      You are highly motivated, willing to take ownership of tasks and projects and have the determination to see assignments through to completion

●      You possess strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence others
