Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in the manufacturing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency in our production operations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as a proactive approach to preventive maintenance. This is a 3.5 month contract to hire with OT pay available.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
