About the role
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Leading the Finance function in Finland and Denmark</li>
<li>Ensure accounting integrity and documentations based on local GAAP and IFRS including Tax matters (Corp Tax Returns)</li>
<li>Manage month-end close and manage interactions with Business and Controlling Team</li>
<li>Ensure all financial reporting (P&L, Full B/S and Cash flow) for the area is organised and completed</li>
<li>Ensure quality of Internal Control of financial processes</li>
<li>Oversee any internal and external audits and possible Tax audits and completion of statutory accounts</li>
<li>Manage treasury activities and cash forecast</li>

<p><strong>Reporting / Accounting</strong></p><ul><li>Manage month-end closing activities delivering a full trial balance, financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income statement and cash-flow)</li><li>Ensure that month-end, quarterly and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time </li><li>Analyse financial data and creating reports for management stakeholders as needed</li><li>Manage project accounting : supporting the calculation of POC (percentage of completion) and monthly review of projects business performance</li><li>Provide financial data to support site management and controlling</li><li>Validate provisions and accruals</li><li>Responsible for monthly reporting in the Group tool (Magnitude, later to be Oracle FCCS)</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete financial records : submission of all ancillary accounting obligations </li><li>Responsible for local annual audit</li><li>Preparation of Statutory Financials books of accounts with compliance to audit</li><li>Manage and oversee Capex: accounting, definition of useful life & depreciation method in respect of accounting Standards</li><li>Monitor Regulatory changes of accounting</li></ul><p><strong>Tax </strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for statutory filings, supervise tax filing, tax returns and manage possible Tax Audits</li><li>Monitor Regulatory changes of taxes</li></ul><p><strong>Cash management</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee and develop local treasury activities and weekly cash flow forecast</li><li>Contribute to credit management</li></ul><p><strong>Internal control </strong></p><ul><li>Ensure management procedures are put into practice, contributing to projects and driving implementation of new solutions in finance</li><li>Ensure quality of internal control (in particular anti-bribery control) </li></ul><p><strong>People Management </strong></p><ul><li>No direct people management but several ongoing projects will need coordination attention from Finance</li></ul><p> </p>
<ul><li><span>5 - 8 years’ experience in a Senior Finance position, preferably in the area of Financial Accounting</span></li><li><span>Completed commercial training plus certified accountant / or bachelor’s degree in accounting</span></li><li><span>Deep knowledge of accounting principles (Local GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computations</span></li><li><span>Ability to handle complex financial information and financial risk</span></li><li><span>Experience of Projects and change management</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills</span></li><li><span>Good english both in writing and speaking</span></li><li><span>High level of efficiency and accuracy</span></li><li><span>Attention to detail and ability to manage multi tasks / project and meet tight deadlines, is analytical and highly organised </span></li><li><span>Work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting, have a confident and outgoing personality</span></li><li><span>Proficient in financial software as SAP, database and Microsoft Office package</span></li></ul>
