KONE Access can be easily integrated with the building’s access control system to simplify <span>management.  </span></p><p></p><p>Our DX Solutions Tribe, Access team as part of that, is building and operating state-of-the-art digital services for our connected elevators to provide Best People Flow Experience (see <a href="https://www.kone.com/en/products-and-services/APFS-advanced-people-flow-solutions/office-flow/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Office Flow</a>). </p><p></p><p>We are now looking for a </p><p></p><p><b>Senior System Engineer, Access Solutions</b> to join our team in Hyvinkää, Finland. We work in a hybrid way mixing office and remote work, with a minimum of three office days per week. We are looking for an experienced professional to join us full time. </p><p></p><p><b>What can we offer for you?</b> </p><p>This is a role where you can make a big impact. You will co-create the development roadmap together with the product manager and shape the technical direction through our quarterly planning practices. On the technical side, you will translate offering requirements into technical requirements, decompose and allocate them to the subsystem level. You will also be responsible for creating system integration plans, executing preliminary system integration, as well as reviewing and supporting subsystem and system level verification. When customer issues arise, you’ll be ready to respond. </p><p></p><p>In this role, you’ll work across both hardware and software technologies, with a strong emphasis on software. We believe that a healthy work-life balance is essential for long-term success .</p><p></p><p><b>To succeed in this role</b></p><p>-You have previous experience in the development of embedded systems, with an emphasis on software </p><p>-You have previous experience with embedded software and Linux operating system  </p><p>-You have previous experience of API design and applications (REST-API, MQTT) </p><p>-You are proficient in relevant programming languages, such as Embedded C/C++ and Python. While this is not a pure coding role, the ability to read, understand, and contribute to code is essential. The ability to create quick protos and support scripts is an asset</p><p>-You have experience with complex control system architectures, including distributed systems, cybersecurity, and system integration </p><p>-You are familiar with reader technologies and access control interfaces such as RFID, Wiegand, and OSDP; this is considered an asset </p><p>-You can collaborate with cloud architects to design KONE cloud-based access control solutions. Knowledge of cloud-native concepts and AWS components is an asset</p><p>-You understand communication protocols and interfaces, including LAN, USB, serial communication, and master-slave configurations</p><p>-You understand databases  </p><p></p><p><b>The desired candidate will have </b> </p><p>-7+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, embedded software, or related fields</p><p>-Proven
